2007 Jubilee ChristmasCHRISTMAS JUBILEE - 2007 The Deacons would like to thank all those who made donations, helped with the preparations and participated in the 2007 Jubilee Christmas. We were able to help parents by providing Christmas activities and financial support for 43 children from 16 families.
The day began with music, refreshments and fellowship with the families. Children had the opportunity to enjoy arts and craft activities. Parents were presented with vouchers that could be used to buy clothing and other needed items for their children. Parents boxed up several dozen cookies (donated by church people) to take home for their family.
Deacons, volunteers, parents and children gathered together to sing Christmas carols which certainly enhanced the spirit of the season in all our hearts. Hats, mittens, gloves, and age-appropriate books were distributed to each child. The event ended with a wonderful luncheon.
