The "Golf Tournament That Serves" was held on Saturday, September 19, staring at 12:00 noon at the Potsdam Town & Country Club.  An Awards Dinner followed at the Church Center.

Our Third Annual THE PRESBYTERIAN Golf Tournament was a huge success, thanks to so many folks. This year we cleared over $4,000!! Letters of appreciation went out to newspapers and those who sponsored holes and those who contributed gifts and/or prizes. This tournament could not have gone as well as it did without the help of the following people — to them we are most grateful: at the registration table and on the course: Ranota Hewitson, Robin Wilkinson, Jane Wells, Connie Zelinski, Tom Longshore. Preparation, serving and cleaning up after the dinner: huge kudos to chefs extraordinaire Jim Whittet & Joe Zelinski, Pam Whittet, Connie Zelinski, Rosalie Hunter, Marilyn Johnson, Phil & Wanda Paro, Sharon Warren, Pat Roda, Bob Fraser and Shirley Baylash. For all those who brought flowers for the table and appetizers and desserts: Helen Brouwer, Dianne Morrison, Rosalie Hunter, Betty Jeffers, Terry de la Vega, Connie Zelinski, Pam Whittet, Gail Schaberg, Fran Shaw, Marie Callahan, Marcia Reutershan, Debbie Shipp, Elizabeth Eno, Marilyn Johnson, and Laurena Will.
