Cello sound healing is a therapeutic immersion, akin to a sound bath, where the cello’s voice-like frequencies resonate deeply with the listener, promoting a sense of connection. Each session begins with a grounding mindfulness meditation, guiding participants through mindful breathing and a golden light visualization. Using octaves, trills, and pentatonic scales, Alisa crafts a soothing soundscape that incorporates harmonics, sustained drones, and the gentle resolution of dissonance. These techniques, combined with the cello’s rich, familiar tones, help release emotional tension and induce a meditative state, encouraging balance, clarity, and profound relaxation. Cello Sound Healing will be offered every other month on the Second Sunday. Next offering will be February 9.
